Vietnam Food Industry International Conference 2019

Vietnam Foodexpo 2019 opened in the morning of November 13, at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) with the participation of 450 enterprises from 29 provinces/cities across the country and 23 countries and territories.

Vietnam Foodexpo-Foodtech 2019 is the largest national trade promotion event of international stature, specialized in agricultural products, fisheries, and food industry with the largest scale in Vietnam, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Agency for Trade Promotion.

Mr. Andreas Krey - General Director of Thuringia State Development Office (Germany) - Guest of Honor at Vietnam Foodexpo 2019 - assessed: Vietnam's food processing industry products are of very good quality and we are big customers for your great products.

According to Mr. Andreas Krey, as a result of the visit to Vietnam of the working delegation of Thuringia State led by Premier Bodo Ramelow, the State of Thuringia was invited to be the guest of honor of Vietnam Foodexpo 2019. At the exhibition, the booth area of Thuringia was a 72-square-meter store showcased the overview of the State's food industry from meat and sausage processing, potato products, vegan products, etc. to functional foods, machinery and food processing technology.

Hanoi IEC - The representative of the State Development Office of Thuringia (Germany) in Vietnam is the unit that supports the implementation of the entire exhibition booth as well as cooperation promotion activities between companies in the two countries.
